Women Want Comfy Undies
We all know what it’s like, you have to be seen to be doing ‘the do’. The pressure is on us to wear the latest, be fashionable, blah, blah, blah, regardless of comfort or in some cases (especially shoes) injury and if we were honest with ourselves, sometimes we do look ridiculous.
Truth be told, if you asked women what underwear they would prefer to wear many would say ‘comfy undies’.
Ask yourself this question; after a hard day or a hard workout what do you want to do?
1. Get changed into your jeans & t-shirt?
2. Get changed into your PJ’s and comfy undies?
3. Get changed into your trousers and blouse?
Personally, this is a bit of a no brainer for me (1 & 3 wouldn’t even get a look-in), but had the question been, 4. Get changed into your maxi dress with your knickerboxers (anti chafing, comfy undies) then I think that 4. would have won it.
When you think about it, who actually sees your undies? 2 or 3 people per day max (including yourself) if you’re lucky? It’s not like we walk around showing off our underwear is it? So maybe the trend should be (or already is) going away from ‘fashion’ and moving back into undies that offer you comfort without compromise?
With garments on the market that offer; ultimate comfort, seamless, stretch, light control, light weight, extended cotton gussets, anti-bacterial, no latex, midi or full briefs, long and short leg knickerboxers as well as no VPL (visible panty lines) and machine washable (no more washing by hand). What more could a woman want/demand from her underwear?
The same could be said for bra’s. The number of women who admit to coming home and taking off their bra or not wearing a bra whilst at home is high. Creating a bra that meets all our demands probably depends on what size bust and back you are, but then I suppose that is another topic for another blog post altogether.
Ladies, wear your comfy undies just the way you like them. No one is looking really, unless of course you are a Miley Cyrus or Lady Gaga, who like to show off their undies to the paparazzi 😉
Be cool, relaxed and comfortable in your comfy undies. You spend 3/4 of your life in them, so at least enjoy them!
